I personally enjoy a wide variety of activities in life, and I believe everything is better with a furry friend. Camping, gardening, cooking, I know I can count on my best friend being there and bringing a smile to my face. When I first started walking dogs, it felt like a privilege to be a part of the pack and being a part of the smiles and happy tails. I look forward to expanding the pack and connecting the community!

Since moving to Vancouver in 2021, I have been enthralled with the awesome pet owning community here! Vancouver has some of the most caring and fun-loving cat dads and dog moms I have ever seen. I have offered pet care services for almost 5 Years, and find few greater joys then seeing a happy husky or satisfied siamese. Additionally, I am a big Baseball fan, and enjoy going to Mariners games. That's basically my whole personality.

My whole life I've been surrounded by pets, so when Alura asked me to join on one of her dog walks I jumped on the opportunity to meet a new one and fell in love with taking care of other's pets! Being new down here in Vancouver makes me excited for all the new furry friends I can make!

What's with Wonder Whiskers?

Wonder Whiskers started with three friends who had an adoration for pets all their lifes. Alura started walking dogs in central Washington after graduating college in 2020. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do in life, but she knew she wanted to do something with pets and make connections with the community. During this time, she had the opportunity to reconnect with a childhood friend who would often join her for walks. When Alura moved to Vancouver, her friend highly enjoyed being around all the animals and offered to take over her clients. This led to new exciting opportunities for both Alura and Camille!

A few years later, our small team ended up in Vancouver and fell in love with the community. We believe pets bring so much joy, laughter, and comfort to our homes, and they deserve nothing but the best. This mindset is strong within the community and is one of the few reasons we are proud to call Vancouver our home. We also understand that owning a pet does not come without stress. It can be stressful worrying if your puppy can hold in their potty all day, or if your cat will be lonely while you are on a weekend vacation. That’s why here at Wonder Whiskers we aim to build a genuine connection with you and your best friend, to be able to provide peace of mind to let you enjoy your day.
